Magwood Dr. to undergo nighttime lane closures | News
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC)- Magwood Drive in West Ashley will undergo nighttime lane closures Jan. 3 as crews work to repair the road.
Charleston County Government announced Thursday the Southbound lane on Magwood Drive between Glenn McConnell Parkway and the Home Depot store driveway will be closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
The construction is for road repairs as a part of the Glenn McConnell/I-526 Improvements Project.
Officials say at least one lane will remain open at all times for motorists traveling on Magwood towards Glenn McConnell Parkway.
In the event of poor weather, the construction will be moved to the next weather-permitting night.
