West Ashley crack dealer sentenced to 25 years
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC)- A 29-year-old West Ashley man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking drugs.
Norris Tyrone Steplight was found guilty by a Charleston County jury of trafficking in cocaine base, more commonly known as "crack."
According to a release, Charleston police uncovered 12 grams of cocaine base on Steplight following a traffic stop. Steplight is a repeat offender, having previously been convicted of a numerous drug and weapons charges.
